Cab we see the foliage? This looks like an old world sage - you can tell from the calyx.

Not familiar with old world or new world sages but here is a pic off its foliage.

This looks like Salvia stenophylla from South Africa. It is a low open bush with freely branching stems and can self-sow, since it is a good seed producer.

I have stenophylla and the flowers are differently shaped and the foliage is different, are you sure that it is stenophylla?
