Can you identify this salvia?

It looks almost exactly like Salvia Cochinea(sp?) except that it has pink blooms not red. I even saw a hummingbird at the bloom. And while my Cochinea grows straight up, this one grows out in branches. It is an annual, and foolishly I threw out the ID. I'm sure it will re-seed, but I'd like to know its name.

Or if you could direct me to a web site where I might find a picture. I'm sure it is a common variety, I bought it at a nursery, nothing exotic.

without pics... probably impossible... is it a salvia greggii?

Are you sure it isnt a pink coccinea?

It could be Salvia coccinea'Brenthurst'.

thank you all. It is Coral Nymph, seeing the name I remember. It didn't have coccinea in the name on the tag, but it makes sense that it is in that family.

That's common nowadays... I bought a Salvia 'San Antonio' which was right next to a Salvia 'Teresa'.... no other names supplied. :o) My nursery has a lot of teen workers.... they couldn't care less, and don't understand the difference.
