Budding Salvia Collection

I am starting a Salvia collection as I have fallen in love with the scent of Clary "Salvia Sclarea" and because of my attraction to it decided to try to grow my own. None of the nurseries around me had it available so I found seeds and started a large collection of 60+... sadly I am new to gardening, and was following the lead of a friend, and I now only have 4 plants left... which are all very small still. Once I stole them away from the clutches of my friend and started feeding the soil, the are growing pretty well, but still are very little. Does any one have any advice to assist them in growing? I currently have them in pots, and feed them different organic fertilizers mixed into water. This seems to have given them much more vigor, but the plants are more than half a year old and still no more than an inch tall, with the largest plant having no more than 8 fuzzy leaves. Any advice is welcomed!

Others in my collection:

Salvia coccinea

'Forest Fire'

Salvia guaranitica

'Black and Blue'

A Maroon salvia by an unknown name?
