Microphylla/greggii seed to flower

Does anyone have an estimate on the time from germination to flower on greggii and micrphylla? For the past few months I've been seeing new plants coming into bloom in various gardens and I'd like to estimate their age, since if they are older it might indicate they are winter hardy here.

Hi,

I have found that on average 6 months from germination to flower.

Thanks Annette, that means that anything in flower since August likely germinated sometime last year. That is very helpful with the kind of hardiness questions that we deal with in my climate. Several of the new ones are quite lovely, and I was hoping to confidently pass them around to some of my more local gardening friends for testing - now I will.
