Did you try googling the name?

Not anything worth looking for on Google. It has probably been reduced to a synonym for Salvia tiliifolia.

Is there a synonym for Salvia betulaefolia, or do I need to travel to Mexico to get it? :)

Salvia betulaefolia is a drop-dead gorgeous tree-like sage most closely related to Salvia regla, with huge orange flowers. I hope it makes it into the trade. Salvia seemannii is shrubby, with spikes of small lavender flowers

Rich Thank You for the clarification, there seems to be differing opions that some put it in tiliifolia just did not know what small differences there where. We have three Cercis species here. The only difference between two is a hairy petoile which to me sounds more like a varietal status thing than a seperate species. But I am not a botanist. Art |
