I'm pretty sure it's a salvia - looks as though it should be quite close to S farinacea - but it isn't one I know intimately! I'm sure Rich or someone will be able to give you a name as it's a good photo for an ID.

I agree. It seems close to Henry Duelberg, but that judgment is subject to differences between sun or shade forms.
