hi, apologies if this is a silly question, very new to salvias. Enthralled with the ease of propagating and finally getting a greenhouse, I have embarked on a bit of a salvia journey. Anyway, cuttings from our local botanic garden were only labelled Arizona Sage. My first one is flowering - it is only 30cm tall and has vivd deep blue flowers (sorry, no camera). So, what is it? This is a VERY interesting forum.

It is probably Salvia arizonica. There is a photo on my site www.robinssalvias.com

RE: arizona sage

Can you give us a description of the height and width etc?
I can only guess it may be S.arizonica . Which has a habit
of growing underground runners and being under 2'deep (way less than a meter).
Thanks
