I think this is Salvia Greggii. Can anyone give me a positive ID?

Yes, it is a salvia greggii bi-color. I don't know the botanic name, but it has several common names in the Texas nurseries, such as 'rosie.' I have had one in the ground for 6 years. My observations are that it is not as strong a grower as the other greggii and does not always stay evergreen here. Also, the hummers seem to shun it so the scent must not be as strong. Merely my observations...on the other hand, any salvia is a great plant. MaryAnn

Thx Aggie!

The glare off of the lower lip is making it hard to tell what color it really is. It looks like a bicolored form, such as Sierra San Antonio.
