salvia glechomifolia (ground ivy sage)

Last night I went to the light show at Longwood Gardens But the real treat was the conservatory where I saw for the first time salvia glechomifolia or ground ivy sage it's from ,Mexico I had never heard of it before Is it very hard to grow and where can I find it? Thanks

It forms a clump from short stolons and spreads about 3 - 6 inches a year. It is hardy in zone 8, and overwinters well in a greenhouse. It self-sows a bit and can be easily propagated by cuttings. It can be kept in a large pot for about 3 - 5 years.

I think the plant in the trade was collected in the mountains of Oaxaca by friends of J. L. Hudson back in the late 70s.
