Can I save my poor plant?

After neglecting my Peace Lily and Snake Plant for over a year and a half I recently got back on a gardening kick.
My current tools at my disposal are Perlite, a 1:1:1 Gritty Mix, Cactus Soil and Spaghnum Moss.
The Plant doesn't seem to have roots, one leaf has a nasty cut in it that came on arrival, one leaf has a dying brown tip, and another has a small brown spot... The biggest leaf seems to be doing okay.
Pictures are attatched.. I'll be repotting it with the Gritty Mix later today.
Any advice for the newbie? Is my plant worth saving, or should I start fresh?
