S. dooneri flowers & seed pods

I'm pretty sure here in Los Angeles (32deg N) is about as far north as one can successfully grow sans outdoors all year. High temps have been near 70 for the past couple of weeks. But it's been dry, so I've showered all my sans and pray that minimum temps stay above 40.
My parva and dooneri sit in water year around and they seem to love it. Here's a dooneri that has two inflorescence and two seed stalks. If you look closely, you may be able to seed the ripe orange fruit.

Are you going to sprout the seeds, or just toss them?

Mike,
If you plan to grow Sans from seeds, good luck. It takes years to see results. I'm too old for this. But if you like crosses and hybrids then by all means do so and report everything to the world. It seems Sans cross with each other and produce fertile off spring.
Dale,
Thanks for sharing. We are expecting -10 degrees for Monday. That's way too cold. I think I might look for a house near you.

I probably will toss the seeds. Like Stush says, "I'm too old to wait for them". I will take these to my SANs presentation to my C&S club in February, but I will make a point of trying to produce and offer seeds in the future to send to who ever wants them.
