| I ordered several Sansevieria species from Thailand last summer. I was surprised to see that the Sansevieria ballyii had formed an inflorescence. Luckily I was able to photograph the plant while it was blooming, in the middle of the night! Mike |

| WOW! I love the way the flowers are high enough so you don't need to slice your ears trying to get your nose to them! You DID smell them, right? Did the flowers close for the day? |
|
| Thanks for the comments. I did smell the flowers but there was no fragrance that I could detect. Perhaps I smelled them at the wrong time but it was while they were all open. The flowers were closed and some even dropping off by the morning. The second day the few remaining flowers were open. Mike |
