My Sans. Trifasciata desertii

Is about to BLOOM!!! I live in western Tennessee growing zone 7b. The plants sat outside all summer and until the second week of November on the carport until I brought everything inside before frost. It sits on the east facing windowseat in full hard Eastern exposure, and it's a bit warmer than I'd like, but it's the only place I can put it with all the rest of my cacti and succulents until late spring.

Congratulations, Maddie, on your bloom. I am looking forward to the first bloom spike on my Sans. cylindrica. It sure is slow in developing and I'm sure it will be worth it! My regular Sans. trifasciata bloom each summer after being outside all season.

Did you mean S. trifasciata 'Laurentii'?

S. trifasciata and S. deserti are 2 different species :)
