I inquired about this plant today, John Trager, curator or the Huntington said that there was no such plant that he knows of. Which means that it could exsist.

I'll ask Hermine Stover tonight on my other forum, and see what she know about this. She was a friend of Mr. Horwood. Where was the plant purchased? Grigsby, that would be a help to know. Could be a transposition of a number. Norma

We think that it is an incomplete # or transposed, or that is not a Howood # it is not a number of any of the people that he traveled with on collection trips. Sorry I couldn't be of help. Norma

I don't understand this post. It seems to be a one-person conversation and it's not the first time. Am I missing the other parts some way, is this being cross posted from another group, or what?
