New Sans, maybe Ballyi

Hi Folks,

Here's my latest new Sans. I believe it's S. Ballyi, or at least that's what I was sold by person who shared it w/ my group. Cost me $4.

I like the shape, kind of different for a Sans.; grows plantlets on stolons like baby Spider plants.

Interesting, well developed orange roots

Had some odd green felt bits in w/ the roots w/ I removed.

Hi Karen,

Congratulations on your new acquisition. It certainly looks like S. ballyi - a small, wonderful species. I have plants from a few different collections, and each one has a distinctive look from the other. The most distinctive are the cultivars 'Minnie' with very short leaves, and 'Tom Grumbley' with silver leaves.

Cheers,

Marlon Machado.
