We had 4' of salt water in the yard during Hurricane Ike a few months back. About 80% of the plants in the garden died. However, all the sans survived. AND right now cylindrica is blooming! There are several planted throughout the garden and in pots and all are sending up new babies and blooming. I'm so excited to see flowers. So much of the Island is covered with dead or dying plants/trees/bushes/grass that anything blooming is a joy.
