i was this close...

About a month ago i made some trifasciata leaf cuttings,the mother plant rotted so i thought that i had nothing to loose.I made 6 cuttings but only 3 survived.Now,the smaller one has the beggining of what it seems to be roots(have it in a glass container)but the leaf is yellowing from the top;What will happen?Will the yellowing affect the root area?Is the leaf doomed?my conditions:very very coarse sand,watering only when dry,and really warm.

Hi,

with any luck, the roots will continue to grow, a plantlet will appear, and the old cutting will die. It is not that unusual since the old leaf is drained of nutrients to live on in its offspring.

you see its my first cutting that took,all the ones i made before all rotted...thats why i seem a little desperate!
