How does it drill the pot ?!

This morning I was surprised when I found my Sans. aff. volkensii's

young shoot which drilled out of the pot, how strong it is (*_*)"

That has happened to me several times. Amazing, isn't it?
Sometimes I will notice a round plastic pot that has taken on an oval shape as the roots of the plant push against the sides and distort it.

My mom told me to set the plant (and pot it's in) in a metal bucket. THis will force the plant to get root bound and bloom. I have only had one plant bloom and it was about 5 yrs ago. I lost the plant when I moved. =( Good luck and hope it was helpful.
