So what is what? What's the roots? The stringy things or big things

Here's a pic of the soil. I hope y'all can see how wet it is from the pic. I rinsed all that crap off n let the sans dry a but before I repot. I will water in about 2 weeks to a month. Any advice on watering after repotting. Thanks y'all.

Anything orange is a root....all those big white things are pups that are trying to make their way to the soil's surface.

In your 2nd pic, you can see one of the white things developing a green tip. Attached pic shows one a little more mature, a new rosette in formation.

I'm glad I changed the soil, I got to see the hidden treasures it had.
