I too had thought Bantel's was more of a white stripe than yellow or cream. I'm crazy for variegated plants, I have them in other plant families too, but I don't care for green & yellow ones. For me, it has to be green & white & I've had trouble getting actual Bantel's as opposed to what folks thought was Bantel's.
I DO have a couple of friends here in local gardening society who grow it, one died last fall & his plant was divided up & shared. I've had a though time w/ Bantel's, find it to be too fragile, I lost this last piece to stem rot after it got accidentally knocked over, bummer.
