Why my pups stopped growing

I recently (May 2008) repotted a few of my older Sansevieria plants and cut off a couple of the new pups growing on the sides. I left an inch or so of rizome with a few roots attached to the pup. I potted each in their own small tarra cotta pot with spagnum moss, perlite, vermiculate, sand and potting soil. They haven't grown a bit since I did this. They were growing great before I divided them from their mother plant. They look fine, just not growing. Will they ever start growing again, or just put off new growth? Will it be next year? Also, if you have any good tips for Sanserierias, let me know. Thanks!!
