I had a common sans that had soil mealies, and I tossed out the plant, but kept a leaf and used it to start new plants which I had never done. Well I have several new plants growing from the leaf cuttings, in several little pots, and I was thinking of transplanting them together into a pot. Can I remove the leaf cutting pieces or will they die back on their own? Do I need to inspect the root system and see if the little plants have any roots of their own first? The new plants are anywhere from one to three or four inches high, as they all started at different times. When starting African violets from leaf cuttings you can just kind of hack away at the new little plants and things generally turn out just fine, but I am not too sure about these sans. Can anyone give me some guidance or at least some encouragement? Thanks.
