The young plants will probably already have roots on them, but it son't hurt to leave the leaf section there to dry up on its own. You have passed the tricky part, and should have no problem with these little plantlets.
Root mealies......argh!! I had these on Sans......they caught me by surprise at first and were very good at reappearing after you thought they were gone. Had to toss a couple nice plants too. I THINK they are completely gone now.

Thanks. That is what I wanted to know. If the root section pieces will die back on their own, I'll just let them do it. Sorry you had the mealies. They are a pain. They seem to have nine lives, so I just started to toss anything that had them. But if I could take cuttings, I tried it. Mostly was no total loss, just setbacks, but I don't really have much in the way of "special" plants just common ones. Hope yours are gone!

You can put all of the little new plants in the same pot if they have roots, only water once, then let then dry out one day and continue as needed. I can't tell you because I don't know your soil, pot, air, watering schedule, this will need to be your own, judgement and common sense. Sounds to me that you did just great. In the summer and if it is hot you can water often, do not get any water onto the leaves even down at the soil line. Then they will be safe. Norma
