My snake plant is blooming has any1 else had theres do the same?

To all,

My snake plant is blooming for the second time in the last 4 yrs. I am shocked because I've had the plant for oh about 18 yrs. and its never bloomed before. I've done some research on it and I've found that it is rare for it to bloom especialy if it is a houseplant. Has anyone ever had theres bloom once or even more than once? Please let me know I'd love to find out :) thnx!

I've had two bloom. When you say twice do you mean from the same head, or did a pup bloom also? I'm told that Sans bloom only once per head.

Well mine has bloomed twice. The first time (a few yrs back) it bloomed it had a flower on every pup. This time it has been divided into multiple plants and two plants had a single flower stalk. By the way how can I upload my photos cuz I would like to show them to everyone?

I have had mine flower every year, each time on a different growth, or rosette. They will never flower again on the same rosette. They flower on new growth or growth that has never producced flowers before. Norma
