I have responded to this question I believe before. Ask questions of the seller, what color are the leaves, how tall in the plant, ask him to tell you about the edges/borders of the leaves. Maybe the plant is a leaf cutting of Sansevieria kirkii "Superclone" or it is grown from seed. Usually, leaf cuttings or seedlings are small plants and have often much more leaves than an adult plant.

Not so. Leaf cuttings will be exactly like the mother plant and grow as large when it is mature. Grown from seed it can be very different depending who pollinted the mother plant. If a father plant was a species or hybid with more leaves the seedling can also take after the father having more leaves. You just dont know. They are pollinated at night by moths. If papa is small that trait may show up in the young seedling. I have several clones of S. kirkii each are different. Norma
