Rather then spend 20 minutes embedding image sources, I'm just gonna post the link to the link... Culture and care are posted in the album itself, not the embedded pictures. Click the other link if you want to know how I grow it.

I do have one Sans that I didn't get a picture of. Doing research last night I am wondering if I have the right name. S. suffruticosa in my experience is a 'vining' plant that surface grows in twirls and loops, blooming often and offshooting shortly after blooming. It puts out one or two roots just below where the new growth is, anchors down, and keeps on trucking. And not orange roots either! The leaf tips are sharp enough to draw blood, and it's just an odd little plant all the way around. The S. suffruticosa shown on Desert Tropicals looks more like my singularis which I am not sure about either! What a mess.

Anyway, here is the album. I will try to get a pic of the missing one, and it's new growth. I'm leaving town for a few days so it won't be real quick.

Here is a link that might be useful: Post of Album pictures & Link

Cena, thanks for the look again. For someone like me who doesn't know, which of the three is S. phillipae?

The very first one that pops up. If you go up to my photo site it will have the proper names for each one, as best as I know, and culture information on how I grow them.

Wonderful pictures!! I see several I think would look great in my back yard. "LOL" You sure have accumulated a nice variety.
I find it rather hard to find many sans. Not many nurseries carry them or at least a wide variety.

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us!

Most of these varieties come from my local Cactus & Succulent Society meetings, once a month. Three of those pictured, I did NOT get there. (S. trifaciata 'Larentii', S.t. birdnest, and S. trifaciata plain.) That tells you alot about where these are available.

And the Best part of local meetings and membership selling to you; you do not pay 'fair market value' based on what suppliers think their time is worth, but rather on a person who wishes his effort & time end product go to a good home where it will be appreciated!!!

Thank you for your kind comments. I am now on a search for two recent sightings of Sans, Lemon Lime, and another posted here for ID. On the scent now!
