They're beautiful, and so evidently enjoying the fresh air. Mine--though our climate is quite different from yours--have also been burgeoning happily since I put them outdoors this spring. Only a few had shown new growth during the winter.

I love your sans. All the rain must agree with them because they are thriving. Makes me wonder if I am underwatering, even though mine seem to be doing well. Your photos are beautiful and give me much encouragement since you are located in a more northern location.

I have all 60-some of my plants on the deck but discovered early on that some Sans don't like TOO much sun... seems to bleach the leaves on some of the straplike ones.

Those are just lovely. What is that first one? You must have good well draining soil for them to do so well in all that rain.

Marcy the first plant is S fischeri. I just acquired this plant in the last year and I love it.

I made sure the plants weren't in harsh sunlight and although I was worried about all the rain, they seem to have not minded being so wet. Hopefully they'll all overwinter OK indoors as usual. I'll certainly put them out again next year.

Fischeri is one of my favorite Sans too. Yours is still in the juvenille form. Won't you be surprised when it puts up its first spike? I've read that when the plant is fully mature in habitat, only a single spike remains that can be several feet high. However, I'm pretty sure potted specimens probably won't exceed 3 feet.

My fischeri looks quite different. It sort of reminds me of rhino horns going every which way. Ha.
