Many nurseries will include heat packs if you will pay for them. Any sans with lots of yellow or white are tender. Call and ask the nursery if you are ordering these.

I wouldn't order if the night temps are below 55 degrees. But, as Johanna mentioned, if they will ship with heat packs, then it might be okay.

I hate to make suggestions, what if you don't get good service, or the plants die, any ethical nursery will not ship this time of the year. If you are paying for the plants I would wait until Spring. I have had good luck shipping to Florida, but I'm not a nursery. I have had plants sent to me just tossed into a box, and no labels on them. That is just not right. I don't know where you live so it's hard to advise you. Joahanna know what she is talking about, I have received packages with heat pillows. It does get the plant to you safely. But they should advise you, some species are very tender. If you grow cycads, then it should be safe to mail. The only mail order places are located in Texas, Ariz. Nevada, Florida, one in So.Calif.
