I didn't bring in my mother in law's plant until three days ago, because I didn't think it was that cold, but now the leaves are horribly droopy and a very bright shade of green. Is there anyway to save my plant?

Its iffy. Remove the mushed up leaves carefully...they should pull away easily. Hopefully, you will have a core of inner leaves that might not be damaged.

Take it out of the wet soil, and leave out to dry. Now I live in Sunny So. Calif. I wouldn't plant it until April 1. If you have any humidity, it will grab that moisture from the air to live on. We are very dry here where I live our humidity is about 22% and that is why we have so many fires in our hills. April 1 the corms,roots, can be replanted and they will grow. Don't give up on the plant. The roots are like those of an Iris corm. Adjust this to where you live. Norma
