I just got my Sansevieria Journal that I was missing. It has nice big pictures of many that I wasn't sure of.

Some are that of mature plants, and others very young plants

S. aethiopica now I know mine is labeled correctly

S. humbertiana it also and another name of S. volkensii which has priority, this is a scrappy plant.

S. young plants of fisheri (singularis) old name, one of my favorites very slow growing for me.

S. raffilii var. glauca I have the name but is it the right plant to go with the name?

S. S. suffruticosa I have several of these all different.

S. Several line drawing of a one I never heard of which I just found out from this journal is conspicuae which I know now that I haven't named correctly. I will need to obtain another.

S. stuckyi has an outstanding flower that comes up like a round ball if flowers at first. I love it, I have

this plant. I hope this information helps out some of you. Norma

I'd like that info on the Journal also Norma. Please post some pics of the above plants with their old/accepted names.

I can't/ not allowed to post the pictures, they are not my own. I will try to post my own in the future. This last journal was terrific, and cleared up several of my questions. Plants have been sold to me with the wrong names. If a species comes from a different location it is considered a different plant, and may really have differences. We all do the best as we can. I do not blame the sellers. I only declared what was in the Journals. They are very well edited and written. Norma
