Hi, it depends on your climate but I normaly prefer to divide in spring.
Because of higher temperatures and plants starting to be more active.
So you have less problems with rotting.

I would think repotting Sans is one's choice. In the past I liked to wait till spring to repot mine. Now a days, I would prefer to pot them in the dead of winter when all other activities are slow.
