Increasing Fire Ant Activity?

| Is anyone in the coastal south noticing this? I thought they had gone to sleep, but suddenly they're popping up all over the yard again. In the space of 15 hours, a nest appeared that covered part of my garden hose (which had been piled on the ground - won't make that mistake again)! I am once again running out of Amdro. |

I blame it on the above-average amount of rain this year
(but I suspect that this whole island is one large fireant bed) |

| Anahita,I live in southeast Georgia,and i have noticed the same increase in the ant population,these last few weeks. |
