I am in the process of putting in a larg flower bed 60' long and about 5' wide. I live practically on the line of zone 8a-b. Coastal South Carolina. I consider myself a pretty experienced vegtable gardener but have very little experience with ornamental perennials. I'm looking for ideas. If anyone can offer a couple of combinations that work well together I would be appreciative. I've bought several bulb types including Dahlias (all kinds),Gladiolas (spelled wrong), Iris's, ect...

| Do you like daylilies? They come in all colors and are pretty carefree. I'm in zone 8b and some of mine bloom from spring til fall. I grow some under my roses. Susie |
