Forum Activity

I live in Coastal South Carolina and I love this site. Wish we could get the Southeast Coastal Forum more active. It can be very tricky to grow plants on the coast. The salt air makes a huge difference in how some plants grow. Any suggestions to increase the activity other than telling all our friends/family about it??

How about a couple of winter scenes from eastern coastal Beaufort county, N.Carolina.

That does it. Those reply pics convinced us to move there. Incredible!!! Well, we thought of moving a couple wks ago (from Winston-Salem, NC area). My DH is a landscaper and I am a big-time gardener (perennials, herbs, veges). Here we come! We arrive in Calabash, NC Sep 3 and leave Sep 5. DH interviewing at a local golf course. Also looking at real estate. THanks for the inspiration!!! I know I can do a lot to get this forum moving by having numerous plant swaps once we are settled. Meanwhile, check out my trade list. It may not be the most useful plants for the area, but its a start.

Here is a link that might be useful: trade list link
