 o
toad lilies or madonna lilies

Anybody know...

Can we grow toad lilies in Savannah, GA? or Madonna lilies? I just love all lilies, but don't want to do something stupid that others have already learned the hard way.

Toad lilies (Tricyrtis)grow very well in zone 8 in partial shade & moist soil. They are spreading, can be pretty invasive. Toad lily is not a bulb. I doubt if it belongs to the lily family.
Madonna lily ((Lilium candidum) I do not have, so I better not comment on it.

Just for the record, Tricyrtis is a genus of Uvulariaceae which is in the order Liliales. Sorry, toad lilies really are lilies.
