| Hello everyone. Has anyone had any luck with Bleeding Hearts? If so, did you plant it in all shade or did it receive morning/afternoon sun? |

| Lettuce pray. Not one of the bleeding hearts I planted last year came back this spring. I planted both pink and white ones in well-drained, semi-shady spots in several areas of our gardens. Let me know if you discover the secret of growing these here. |

DixieRose, what a shame they did not return. They are such beautiful plants. I put in some pinks. Mine will be getting a little of the late afternoon sun. I'll let you know how they fare. |

| I didn't have a King Of Hearts, (I understood that to be a different variety from the old fashion pink & white Bleeding Hearts) but the old fashion Bleeding Hearts I had did great and came back where I had it planted years ago. It was under a dense Camelia, with MaidenHair ferns, Begonias, & Babies Tears. I don't think that Bleeding Heart got any sun, except maybe from a slight angle for a very short period of time at sunset. It was a pretty moist location too. |
