| The plant swap and get-together is now scheduled! We will even be having a guest speaker, Gail Lutoswski the director of the Warnell Forest Education Center.
Date: November 4th, 2006
We will be holding the event at the outdoor classroom, a large deck with semi circular bench seating and a fireplace. The facility has an indoor classroom that will seat 50 in inclement weather. The Facility also has a kitchen we can use if needed. You can review the center’s web site at http://warnell.forestry.uga.edu/warnell/kahrs/. I will be posting more information as the date nears. Please contact me, Sandra Duncan, at rjdblues@aol.com if you have any questions. |

| Sandra, we need to warn everyone that those directions are for GEORGIA state route 17. There is a US 17 that goes by Savannah that does not go anywhere near Guyton. |

| Question: Is there a covering for the outdoor seating? (Even in early Nov. I can get a pretty good sunburn.) Didn't see a photo on the link. Otherwise looks like something I'd like to participate in. Thanks so much! |

| I comming from Sav'h also. Is Guyton off of Hwy 80? Gina |

| The deck isn't covered but the center is located in a forest. I don't know how how shady the deck is. If it is to hot we can always hold the event indoors. Directions: From I-16: Exit at Exit 152. Go North on Highway 17 until it intersects Highway 80. Turn left on Highway 80. In Faulkville, turn right on Highway 17 going North. Go 3 miles and look for our sign on the left! | You can bet that it won't be hot the first week in November. We need to start thinking about what to eat. May I suggest that we plan to eat about 12:00? That would allow everyone time to get there, meet and gab a little, spread the lunch, eat and clean up. Then afterwards, we can see what we have in the way of swapping, plants, whatevers or knowledge. |

| Sounds like a good plan. I know right now that I won't have anything to swap. But I am very curious as to what others would have. I'll just stand around and watch. I'll have to think about what to bring for lunch. |
