Planting in the hinesville georgia area

Thanks for all the folks who helped me with my question about plants that do well in this area. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thankfully the hurricane bypassed Georgia altogether.

In the spring we will begin creating our garden. For now we are just putting together plans and ideas.

RE: Planting in the hinesville georgia area

Our son and dil, (in Hinesville) are just now doing their garden also. One big mistake they have made, IMHO, is that they planted three wisteria vines to grow up their privacy fence. They liked the flowers on ours, (which we have learned to keep trimmed into a tree form, before it ate our deck.) We have a three foot debutant camelia which we will add to their garden structure this fall. Good luck with your garden and in case YOU just must have a wisteria, put it where you can keep it in check.
