| I live in a townhouse with a U-shaped "back yard" that is about 4 feet deep (from house to fence). There is a small pecan tree in a corner, which has apparently grown from a pecan which fell from a neighbor's pecan tree overhanging my property. Is there any chance the pecan tree could grow without damaging the foundation of the house? If I need to dig it up, how deep would I need to dig to get enough root system to transplant the tree? The tree is about 2 feet tall. Thanks. |
