Does anyone know of a source for cotton seed. From what I have read it'll do well here and there arn't any restrictions on growing in my area. Any suggestions?

RE: cotton seed

I'll be going to a plant swap in about 2 weeks and I think there is a man who will be there who could bring some and I could mail it to you. I'll send him a message and ask him. How much do you want? I take it you are not going to plant a whole field of this and go out with your little cotton sack and pick it in the fall. That's a formidable task, no more of it than I did.

There is a lady in Rincon, Ga. She has cotton seed and tobacco seed and many other unusual seeds. And they are "Almost FREE"!!! I have bought many packets of seed from her and she is great to deal with.

Here is a link that might be useful: Rincon Plant Preservation and Introduction Garden
