Burying a Aspidistra Elatior pot in the ground

Hey there! Hey!

I bought a nice 2 foot aspidistra elatior in one of those black plastic pots.

I buried it in the ground last month. It is in a raised bed but still buried alittle underground about 2 inches.

The surrounding dirt comes up level with the pot.
Pine straw around it.

The first couple of frosts I threw a tarp over it. It gets morning sun , and afternoon shade.

How will this plant do in this location? Do I need to bring it inside?
