| We had a light frost last week. A couple of things bit it -- a coleus with plain yellow-green leaves, basil and morning glory. I've got lots of coleus in the garden, but just that one variety seems to be more sensitive to frost. Other coleus planted in the same beds are still looking good. |

| We got our first frost here off the coast of Savannah Saturday night. We dropped to freezing at 11:00 p.m and got down to 29.9 degrees in my yard for the low. Widespread frost, but the only damage I have is on a very few banana leaves...bougainvillea, hiviscus, brugs all fine..I know it isn't the last, and probably not the worst, but I hope it turns out to be a mild winter...I hate the cold. |
