Cumberland Island Mystery Tree

I visited Cumberland Island several years ago, and I was amazed by trees (I think there were four) at the entrance of the driveway to Plum Mansion. The trees were conifers, very columnar and probably 80 to 100 foot tall. The mansion was built in the early 1900's, so I imagine that these trees were planted at this time. My interest in trees was since grow, but I never learned what type of trees these were. My guess would be Italian Cypress, but I'm not sure. Does any one know?
