1st Attempt..... with a seedling

I was given a Pod from a Purple Datura over LaborDay_09.... my GF told me to let it dry out throughly.
I've not idea how to start these....
Should i wait till next spring (judging form the other emails)
Can someone direct me where to go to know how to get these to grow for me? |
