Coreopsis Seeds

OK - someone look at this pic and tell me -- are those long things the seeds??? This is from my 'Moonbeam' Coreopsis plant. To the left of the photo you'll see the dried seedpods that I collected this from.

No, the seeds will be really short and a little shiny black.
Put them on a piece of paper and gently tap it. The heavier seed should start to move away from the chaff.
