Storage of tree seeds

| I recenlty bought some seeds from whatcom. i am stratifying half and i plan to sow the other half next fall. The company only told me that one kind needed to be stored in the refrigerator. Should i store the others in there as well? I have them in a drawer in my room right now. the seeds are trident, amur, red,black,white pines. |

| I dont believe that you can over stratisfy a seed. Put them in the fridge with the others so when the time comes that you want to plant them they will be ready to go. I have had seeds stored in my freezer for quite some time I pulled out a pack earlier this year that I know I have in there at least 3 years maybe longer. My percentage of germination was outstanding in fact I had to give a few seedlings away, I had way to many. |
