Tomato Seeds

I saved some Campari tomato seeds and after 6 days no moldy crust had formed so I just rinsed and am drying the seeds. Think they will grow or should I try another batch? Don't remember if mold formed last year- but about half of seeds sprouted and tomatoes were great.

Will probably do fine. Fermentation is the ideal as it disinfects the seed and can speed germination later but is not required for seed viability.

RE: Tomato Seeds

You could try the method from Winter Sown. Org. It only takes 30 minutes to remove the gel and disinfect your seeds and you don't have to grow mold.
