I don't if this is the right place to post ,but here goes...

I just got a great deal on 2 waterbed heaters on E-bay and I plan on useing them for starting seeds indoors,palms and such,has anyone done this and can anyone give me any tips.They came with controls and thermostats so I"M READY.

I wish you hadn't mentioned that--now I'm thinking of cruising garage sales in search of cast-off waterbed frames and heaters to make a HUGE seed-starting setup (putting a plexiglass sheet over the top (or sheets plural) so it can be outside....

Hi Sharyl,
I use a waterbed heater for sowing seed. See the 'Growing from seed' forum for my reply there about using one. It was long winded otherwise I'ld repeat it here.
