? about morning glory seed - does it cross?

I'm planting a mix of MGs this year (first time ever, in fact) and the mix includes a few heirloom/OP types. Do these flowers readily cross or can I save seed from them with no problem? (I've never saved anything but veggie seeds before, so I'm a bit of a newbie in this department).

According numerous studies, the average rate of self pollination is only about 30%. Doesn't mean you can't save them tho. Don't know about hand pollination in these.
