Large Sunflower Seeds - Name?

Posted by Carletta 9 TX (My Page) on

I don't know that this is the right place to post this, but I don't think we have a "Name That Seed" forum. A neighbor has had a sunflower come up which has the blooms on it like the sunflowers you see often in florist arrangements - very large center with a small "fringe" of petals around the outer edge. The seeds are rather large and black. These seeds will be mine when they dry but I'd like to know if anyone knows if they have a name.
