I have an enormous oak leaf hydrangea that is in full flower right now. All the tiny green capsules have burst open and it is "shedding" the tiny little hair like things that I assume are seeds. My question is, can I save these and how, or is it too early? Will this bush keep flowering until fall, and would that be the time to save seeds? I found another thread that explained starting from seed but no instructions on gathering/saving seeds.
